Adam K. Mans, CFA is Principal and founder of AKM Advisory, LLC. Adam has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including four years as an actuary before beginning his career in the investment management profession. Before starting AKM Advisory in March of 2014, Adam was president and member of the board of directors of Marquette Asset Management in Minneapolis.

Fee Structure

AKM Advisory charges a fee based on a percentage of assets under management. As a fee-only advisor, AKM is compensated solely by its clients and does not receive any compensation that is contingent on the purchase or sale of a financial product. The fee structure is as follows:

  • 1.00% on the first $1,000,000

  • 0.75% on the next $500,000

  • 0.50% on the balance of the relationship

Fees are calculated and billed quarterly, in arrears, based on the average daily balance of the relationship.

The preferred minimum relationship size is $500,000.

He has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry holding various management and executive level positions before spending the last 3 years as a financial advisor to individual clients. Patrick lives in Saint Paul, MN with his son. He enjoys traveling, golfing, scuba diving, any sort of construction project and competing in triathlons.
